The Young Professional Advisory Board (YPAB) is a volunteer advisory board of young professionals committed to furthering the mission of HIV Law Project by promoting the organization to a broader public constituency through events and activities and by raising funds for its legal and advocacy services.
Founded in 1989, HIV Law Project was the first and, today, remains the only legal agency providing comprehensive services focused exclusively on low-income people living with HIV/AIDS in New York City, including women, people of color, recent and undocumented immigrants, low-income members of the LGBT community, and the homeless. Through innovative legal services and advocacy programs, HIV Law Project leads the fight for the rights of the most undeserved people living with HIV/AIDS.
